Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week (5/6/24 - 5/10/24) |

We had such a tremendous response to our teacher/staff appreciation sign up that we wanted to present another optional opportunity to show your support of our wonderful staff!
Gift Card Extravaganza! How: If you purchase a gift card, please bring it into the front office. Ms. Amanda will put together the raffle. When: Please turn in your gift card donation by Monday, 5/6/24 by 8:30am Ideas for Gift Cards: Starbucks, Pinon Coffee, Amazon, Visa, local restaurants, movies, etc.
Our goal is to have a gift card for all of our 60+ staff members so whatever gift cards you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support of our hardworking and wonderful TMEMS staff.

State Testing for 5th and 8th Grade! |

Grades 5 and 8 Only: Your child will test each morning April 29-May 1 (Monday-Wednesday) for approximately an hour. They will be testing in Science on the NM-ASR.
Students will need headphones- please talk to you child and ensure they still have their headphones from the supply list stored in their backpack or classroom.
Here are a few reminders: *Schedule appointments and activities, where your child may miss school, in the afternoon during testing weeks. *Ensure that your child is well rested each day and has a good breakfast. *Have your child send in his/her instrument on their strings day, as they may still have class. *Please remind your child that they cannot have any electronic devices (including smart watches, cell phones, and bluetooth headphones) during testing. *Please make sure your student is dropped off on time, not later than 9:00am. *If your student wants to bring headphones, they cannot be Bluetooth. They must have a cord. |

Are you withdrawing your student from TMEMS for the 2024-2025 school year? |

Disregard this message if you are planning on attending TMEMS next school year, 2024-2025.
If you are withdrawing your student from TMEMS next year, 2024-2025, please fill out the linked withdrawal form as soon as possible and return it to Ms. Amanda, ahagerty@tmesnm.com or send it in your student’s gold communication folder. We have a long waitlist and we would like to notify families if we have a spot available.
If you are withdrawing for the 2024-2025 school year, please put May 31, 2024 as your last day at TMEMS.
By filling out the withdrawal form, you are only withdrawing for the upcoming year. It will not impact this school year, 2023-2024.
Thank you for helping us get our student numbers figured out for the upcoming year.

End of Year Balances |

The end of the school year is fast approaching! Students cannot carry balances from one year to the next so please log in to your parent portal as soon as possible to view fees and begin paying down the balance so that your child's student account will be in good standing by the end of the year.

Panorama Health and Wellness Survey |

NMPED is collecting another Health and Wellness survey. We are asking that all of our students participate in the surveys, as their responses will provide invaluable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our district to their needs. If a student doesn't feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. The responses to these surveys will be completely confidential. We are partnering with a third-party vendor to support us in administering these surveys. If you have any questions about the SEL survey, please don't hesitate to contact us at 505-796-0149. This survey is a requirement of NMPED, but parents can opt their student out of the survey. If you choose to opt your student out, please fill this Google Form out by May 1, 2024. |
