2026/2027 School Year
THE MONTESSORI ACADEMY FOOD & NUTRITION SERVICE (FNS) NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT
We’re proud to offer a high-quality, delicious breakfast and lunch program free to all students. To ensure the program remains sustainable and fully funded, meals must be received by each student for both breakfast and lunch. Your student does NOT have to eat the meal. We have multiple students asking for second servings because they are still hungry. So, students who do not wish to eat the school breakfast and lunch are welcome to place any unopened items or trays that they don’t want on the share table, allowing other students to grab the items. Leftover meals will go into a community refrigerator, and the students will have access if they are hungry during the day.

The Montessori Academy will make modifications and substitutions to the regular school meals for a student with a disability that restricts their diet. The Special Diet Authorization Form must be completed and signed by a licensed healthcare provider for a student with a disability before the school cafeteria can provide any modifications or substitutions. The completed form must be provided to the nurse’s office, and will be shared with the school cafeteria manager. The school cafeteria staff will prepare the meal along with the other meals being served that day. Please email the completed form to kfitsgerald@tmesnm.com.
