Ms. Lisa Mauricio
6-9 Teacher/Level Lead Teacher for 6-9
Welcome back! I hope that you are excited to have your children returning to school after a wonderful and restful summer vacation. I am very happy to be back and I am looking forward to a great year with your children. This year Ryan Hagerty will be assisting in our class. Ryan has been a part of TMES for many years. He assisted in Ms. Joy’s kindergarten class last year and he has worked with 6-9 classes in the past. We are very happy to have him join us.
During the first couple of weeks, students will learn routines, procedures, and care of our classroom. Please read the following information to help begin our year successfully:
Class begins promptly at 9:00. When children enter the classroom, they are to begin the morning routine immediately.
Communication folders will be sent home every day. Please check the folder every evening, and help your child to remember to bring it back to school every morning. Please send any notes, permission slips, or office information back to school in the folder.
Your child will need to bring a water bottle with his or her name on it every day. It is also acceptable to leave the water bottle at school for the week, and I will have the students take it home on Friday to be washed.
I am so fortunate to work at this wonderful school. I love being here and I am looking forward to having a great year with your children! I check my email every morning, so please email me if you have any questions. J
I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I was trained in Montessori 6-9 Education by the Center for Montessori Teacher Education, New York. This will be my 7th year working at The Montessori Elementary School. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my three children, visiting with friends, and reading.
